About the role
- Technical BI Consultant building modern BI platforms and data solutions for clients at NORRIQ. Collaborating to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions with a focus on delivery and quality.
Responsibilities
- Dive into our clients’ data and build robust, scalable solutions.
- From setting up data pipelines to modelling data platforms – your work will form the technical backbone of our BI projects.
- Implement data warehouses, create high-performing data models and help deliver end-to-end BI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Server, Power BI, Fabric, …).
- Work closely with functional colleagues to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Communicate clearly, think proactively and confidently suggest improvements.
- Enjoy solving complex technical challenges and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Experience in a BI environment or team.
- An interest in cloud-based BI solutions and the Microsoft ecosystem, with knowledge of Power BI, SQL and data warehousing.
- Logical, structured thinking and the ability to justify technical decisions.
- Familiarity with project-based working and meeting deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with the confidence to take initiative independently.
- Fluency in Dutch and a professional command of English; knowledge of French is a plus.
