About the role
- Scrum Master leading Agile projects in NORRIQ's Financial Services, fostering team collaboration and productivity. Guiding teams in Scrum methodology and Agile values for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead Agile projects, ensuring the team understands and uses Scrum principles
- Support productivity, teamwork, and self-organization
- Coach the team, stakeholders, and business lines, encouraging collaboration and improving practices
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and meetings
- Schedule and track critical steps of Agile methodology
- Provide assistance to the Product Owner for managing the Product Backlog
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams
- Track team capacity and velocity metrics to optimize planning and monitor progress
- Coach the Project Team to embrace Agile values
- Protect the team from unnecessary distractions and provide regular reports to management
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as scrum master, preferably more than 7 years
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira for reporting and follow-up
- Understanding of automated unit testing, functional testing, and continuous integration tools
- Strong knowledge of software development and project management methodologies
- Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies and techniques, including Scrum and Kanban
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Economics
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is mandatory
- Fluency in English, and Dutch or French, with at least passive knowledge of the other.
