About the role
- Compliance Officer Internship at Norgine supporting compliance processes in France & BeNeLux. Conducting due diligence, supporting training, and producing compliance reports.
Responsibilities
- Assist to conduct in-depth third-party due diligence and ensure ongoing monitoring.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal teams, supporting them in partner evaluation and compliance processes.
- Train and raise awareness among operational teams on third-party due diligence tools and requirements.
- Produce compliance reports and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with the Business Integrity & Compliance Manager to support ethics, risk awareness, and business integrity initiatives, including:
- o Promoting compliance principles and fostering a strong culture of integrity.
- o Coordinating local implementation of anti-bribery and ethics-related processes.
- o Supporting training programs, compliance audits, and monitoring activities.
- o Assisting with transparency obligations and ensuring compliance of HCP/HCO contracts.
- o Lead the maintenance of local affiliate-level transparency reports across ROC, particularly in Belgium and BeNeLux.
- o Support commercial and medical teams in using the contract database effectively.
- o Contributing to global policy development and ensuring local implementation.
Requirements
- Student in business school or university, preferably with a legal background (or specialization in finance, audit, or compliance).
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly grasp regulatory and operational challenges.
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, critical thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- English, both written and spoken.
- Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of international compliance standards, particularly ABAC (Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption).
- Proficiency in IT tools.
