About the role

  • Project Accountant 2 managing small project accounting within Construction and Operations Team. Overseeing contract administration and compliance for projects in Seattle area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contract administration process for Consultants and General Contractors
  • Manage project set up in Oracle and Purchasing systems (POMS)
  • Review projects for correct Fixed Asset classification and use tax assessment
  • Ensure accurate documentation of project transactions, maintaining organized records for auditing and internal review purposes
  • Lead On-Site Store Fixture Installation Process, traveling as needed
  • Contribute positively to overall daily functioning of the team and cross train employees as needed
  • Review operating requirements, practices and procedures determining whether improvements can be made and implement changes as appropriate

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Experience with Fixed Asset, Construction or Property Development Industry preferred
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle, Coupa, Concur, Smartsheet and AI is a plus
  • Ability to review and analyze facts to make accurate decisions, summarize data and create meaningful reports
  • Strong Mathematical acumen with high degree of accuracy
  • High level of curiosity, ownership, and initiative with ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
