About the role
- Tax Accountant supporting global indirect tax compliance efforts at Nord Security. Ensuring accurate VAT/GST and U.S. Sales Tax reporting across international entities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and iSAF registers on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and submit OSS and U.S. Sales Tax returns on a monthly / quarterly basis.
- Collect, review, and organize financial data on a monthly and quarterly basis for submission to external consultants.
- Collaborate with external partners on indirect tax compliance tasks.
- Support the management of VAT/GST and U.S. Sales Tax accounts.
- Maintain and update the global indirect tax compliance calendar.
- Assist with indirect tax registrations in relevant jurisdictions as needed.
- Help strengthen internal tax knowledge by documenting best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or taxation.
- Solid understanding of VAT and corporate tax principles.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Self-driven, initiative, problem-solving oriented.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Motivated to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Nice to have: experience with EU VAT or U.S. Sales Tax.
