Responsibilities
- Integrate secure Akamai platform capabilities directly into Defense mission systems through hands-on deployment and validation.
- Translate operational requirements into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions across engineering and infrastructure domains.
- Serve as the primary on-site technical representative ensuring successful integration and sustained operational performance.
- Lead on-site integration efforts, serving as engineering interface between customers, product teams, and third-party partners during deployment and test cycles.
- Design and deploy secure cloud-native and edge-based solutions using containers, orchestration platforms, and virtualization technologies.
- Coordinate integration across networking, identity, infrastructure, data flows, and security controls to ensure mission execution.
- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning Zero Trust identity, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, networking, infrastructure, and containerized systems.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, technical integration roles or its equivalent
- Hands-on expertise with Linux or Unix, Python or shell scripting, Git, Docker or Podman, Kubernetes or ECS
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures including OAuth2, SAML, OIDC, identity-aware routing, and privilege controls
- Possess active Secret clearance and maintain DoD 8140-compliant certification such as Security+ or CISSP
