About the role

  • Software Engineer developing and implementing software solutions in high-end telecommunication technologies at Nokia. Requires C++ knowledge and hybrid work readiness for Krakow office.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, and implementing software utilizing the latest software best practices
  • Implementing cross-component development tests
  • Analyzing and solving complex engineering problems in radio technologies area
  • Occasional participation in creating and reviewing requirements for functional, design and interface specifications based on system specifications
  • Propose, plan and implement product and process improvements
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members
  • Cooperation with Architects, Software Technical Leaders and Test Leads

Requirements

  • Knowledge of and experience with C++
  • Knowledge of Boost and STL C++ Libraries
  • Knowledge of unit test frameworks
  • Knowledge of 3GPP and experience in L2, L3 or OAM
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork skills
  • 4-6 years of work experience
  • Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar subject
  • Readiness to work in a hybrid mode (Nokia Kraków office)
  • __It would be nice if you also had:__
  • Python, Go, Bash is an advantage
  • Experience with Non-Terrestrial Networks R&D
  • Experience with C++ embedded
