About the role

  • Senior ESG Project Manager driving sustainability initiatives for Nhood's property management and asset management units. Collaborating on ESG strategies for international projects.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the ESG transformation of certain Nhood Business Units (Property Management and Asset Management) in the operation of assets under management
  • Contribute to the resource center: structure methodologies, tools and build the skills of teams and clients
  • Structure and deploy the ESG owner's representation / ESG project management support service offering for existing and new clients
  • Internal deployment of the Green Asset Management System: integrate ESG standards into operational processes (operations, asset management) in coordination with country operational ESG teams
  • Update and manage ESG roadmaps by function and by country (define intermediate milestones, ensure action plans align with decarbonization targets, lead ESG committees and regular follow-up rituals, etc.) for managed portfolios
  • Manage environmental certification portfolios (e.g. BREEAM In-Use)
  • Support Asset Managers / Property Managers in defining OPEX/CAPEX budgets and ESG investment plans
  • Manage cross-functional ESG projects and coordinate with country ESG teams (e.g. green leases)
  • Lead and maintain ESG transformation projects in committees and meetings with business units
  • Develop operational tools to monitor the ESG performance of assets
  • ESG data management and digitalization to structure and secure ESG data and reporting
  • Strategic and technical scoping of ESG action plans, produce technical guides, and provide business support and implementation methodologies
  • Support the upskilling of internal ESG teams
  • Regulatory and technical watch
  • Support regulatory compliance and audit preparation (certifications, green financing, etc.)
  • Manage technical projects to optimize energy performance and reduce costs
  • Conduct ESG due diligence (acquisition, disposal, financing)
  • Asset performance diagnostics (consumptions, environmental impacts, works plans, charge budgets)
  • Energy and technical management in collaboration with our partner Bueno
  • Climate risk audits and adaptation plans
  • Biodiversity and renaturation studies, renewable energy strategy (ENR), ICPE, land management

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) — engineering school or specialized master — in sustainable building, energy performance and/or building technical management
  • More than 5 years’ experience in sustainable building and commercial real estate
  • Knowledge of ESG issues and environmental performance of buildings (climate, carbon, water, biodiversity)
  • Familiarity with French and European ESG regulations and environmental certifications
  • Understanding of the commercial real estate sector and its value chain
  • Building energy engineering (energy optimization and energy management)
  • Interest and/or experience in technical operations and facilities management
  • Specific expertise in waste, biodiversity, water or ISO 50001 is a plus
  • Comfortable working with data (Excel)
  • Ability to produce summary documents (e.g., notes) and framework documents (guidelines, PowerPoint presentations)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Project- and operations-oriented
  • Autonomous, proactive and agile
  • Team player, able to propose solutions and synthesize information
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and internal communication skills
  • French & English, written and spoken (Spanish is a plus)
