About the role

• Senior Full Stack Developer enhancing digital products. Contributing to web applications and tools as part of an international development team.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the development and further enhancement of high-quality web applications.
• You assist in maintaining and supporting our in-house tools and libraries as well as the associated third-party tools.
• You write clean, readable, and well-tested code.
• Through pair programming and code reviews you challenge your colleagues, take responsibility for their code and support targeted technical development.
• You have the freedom to make design and architecture decisions and oversee them during implementation.
• You like to automate recurring tasks using appropriate tools and scripting.
• You act as a technical point of contact for cross-department colleagues and for our clients.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Informatics, Media Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in the digital sector, ideally in a senior, lead or similar role at an agency or software house
• The programming languages PHP, Node.js, Next.js and React are familiar to you, and HTML/CSS do not intimidate you
• You are comfortable working on both frontend and backend development
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong quality awareness and great attention to detail in code and applications
• Confident use of Git (GitHub), VS Code and package managers such as npm
• Confident presence and excellent communication skills (engaging, inspiring, persuasive, motivating, able to drive change)
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Solid knowledge of modern web technologies and frameworks
