Responsibilities

  • oversee all finance, accounting and reporting activities
  • support presentations for senior leadership
  • lead day-to-day finance operations of a $75 million budget
  • supervise a team of 7 staff members
  • educate program leaders on finance and accounting procedures
  • analyze financial data and present financial reports
  • assist in annual budgeting and planning process
  • coordinate all audit activity

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of accounting and finance experience
  • personal qualities of integrity and credibility
  • proactive, hands-on strategic thinker
  • minimum of a BA; CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • solid experience coordinating audit activities
  • technology savvy with experience selecting software
  • commitment to recruiting, mentoring, and retaining a diverse team
  • keen analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to translate complex financial concepts
