About the role

  • Cybercrime Analyst contributing to incident response and online threat prevention techniques at Netcraft. Engaging in hybrid role with impact on global cybercrime disruptions.

Responsibilities

  • Cybercrime incident response – communicating analysis of cyber threats to relevant parties to mitigate attacks;
  • Classification of malicious websites, social media profiles, apps, emails, and phone numbers;
  • Providing clear and professional feedback to customers on incidents and classifications;
  • Sharing your ideas on how to improve processes and workflows.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong intellectual and commercial curiosity;
  • A positive and solution-focused approach;
  • Interest in the internet and cybercrime prevention;
  • Excellent communication skills with a high standard of written English;
  • Ability to engage with people in a warm, helpful, and professional way;
  • Self-motivation, ability to take initiative, and work as part of a team;
  • Aptitude for analysing and using technical information;
  • Competence in handling incoming phone calls;
  • Some experience in cybersecurity is useful but not essential as full training will be provided;
  • A degree in a relevant area, such as Computer Science or IT may be useful but isn't essential.
  • Prior experience or knowledge in cybersecurity is not required; we’re more interested in your passion and willingness to grow in this field.
