About the role
- Safety Technician ensuring the improvement of work safety and health conditions at Nestlé. Conducting evaluations, trainings, and compliance with legal requirements in a factory environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations of all factory workstations to identify and control hazards, mitigate risks, and prevent occupational illnesses
- Support the identification and implementation of corrective and improvement actions for workstations
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and standards
- Manage firefighting equipment, overseeing tests, inspections, and recharging
- Control and monitor safety metrics and management reports
- Conduct DDHSE (Daily HSE dialogues) and provide training
Requirements
- Technical diploma in Occupational Safety (Técnico em Segurança do Trabalho) with active registration at the MTE (Brazilian Ministry of Labor)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of the SOC, Cesla, and IUS Natura (CAL) systems
- Intermediate English; Power BI experience is a plus
- Mindset oriented toward digital innovation
- Previous experience in the role and in a manufacturing/factory environment
