About the role
- Software Engineer developing features and improving backend services for secure product experiences. Collaborating with product teams and machine learning experts to enhance system operations.
Responsibilities
- Product development — Work with our product team to build new features and enhance existing ones to improve the experience for users and customers
- Observability — Help the team understand what’s happening in our backend systems
- Improve security — We handle sensitive data and continuously seek to strengthen our security posture
- Operations — You build it, you run it. Monitor how your services perform in production and continuously improve them
- Refactor legacy code — Replace outdated designs in certain areas with more reliable, resilient solutions (for example, event-driven, state-machine architectures)
- SQL, REST, messaging systems — Work independently with the full tech stack
- Collaborate with machine learning experts — Integrate deep learning models and classical algorithms for audio and video analysis into your area of responsibility
Requirements
- Proven professional experience working with Go
- Understanding of Kubernetes — All our services run on Kubernetes, so practical experience or a basic understanding is an advantage
- Excellent communication — Able to explain complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaboration — Experienced working in a hybrid setup and comfortable giving and receiving feedback
