About the role

  • Tech Lead at N5X leading a development team in complex energy market solutions. Collaborating with Product Managers and Designers to deliver aligned business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • As a Tech Lead at N5X, you will lead a development team in building high-complexity solutions focused on the energy finance market;
  • Work in a dynamic environment in partnership with Product Managers, Designers and other areas to define and deliver solutions aligned with business needs;
  • Promote best practices, manage technical debt and remove impediments to meet the roadmap;
  • Support the development and engagement of the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and autonomy;
  • Run agile ceremonies and the necessary rituals to maintain delivery cadence;
  • Monitor and improve metrics such as mean time to recovery (MTTR), lead time, productivity and team efficiency;
  • Report the status of initiatives and updates to different organizational levels, ensuring visibility into progress, impediments and action plans;
  • Recommend appropriate team composition with a focus on technical capabilities and engagement;
  • Foster proactivity and autonomy, encouraging the team to anticipate problems and needs and to find solutions before challenges arise;
  • Develop the team’s soft and technical skills, lead knowledge-management practices, and support the Manager with hiring, promotions and internal movements;
  • Manage conflicts, vendors and incidents, optimizing processes and minimizing failures;
  • Monitor the market to identify technologies, startups and valuable partners.

Requirements

  • Relevant educational background and technical experience that enable you to contribute to architecture and domain design decisions;
  • Strong software development experience, with proficiency in Java and building scalable solutions;
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, AWS Cloud, observability (logs, metrics, tracing) and production monitoring;
  • Proven technical leadership experience, focused on managing software development teams;
  • Experience coordinating complex projects involving system integrations and technological evolution;
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), their rituals and common market tools;
  • Knowledge of performance metrics, roadmap development, OKRs and KPIs;
  • Skills in stakeholder and vendor management, ensuring solution sustainability and SLA compliance;
  • Ability to make autonomous technical decisions and take responsibility for outcomes;
  • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical teams, articulating risks, plans and trade-offs;
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on team building, mentoring and people development;
  • Ability to conduct meetings in English;
  • Not mandatory, but desirable: knowledge of the energy or financial markets.

  • Bonus: Up to two months’ salary per year.
  • Work model: Hybrid – 3 days in the office per week, attendance at in-person team rituals (currently quarterly), in-person meetings with stakeholders and company events.
  • Meal allowance: R$ 42.00 per working day.
  • Food allowance: R$ 800.00 per month.
  • Transportation: Round-trip coverage for in-office days with no payroll deduction.
