About the role

  • DevOps Engineer at MYOB enhancing core business management systems for small to medium enterprises in Australia and New Zealand. Focused on operational excellence and stability.

Responsibilities

  • Extend and evolve the platform to adapt to customer needs whilst maintaining an exceptional level of stability and reliability.
  • Ensure our systems are operating optimally, by engaging in operational improvements, maintenance and access management.
  • Work closely with development teams across the company to understand problems, evaluate patterns and best practices and identify opportunities for the team to contribute
  • Embrace Lean principles and work as a part of an Agile team - utilising sprints, epics, experiments, and iterating based on feedback.
  • Drive adoption of our services and tooling through workshops, training and consultation.
  • Seek opportunities to automate our own services and processes, reducing operational toil in a multi-cloud platform environment

Requirements

  • Experience working in Azure, with a solid background in DevOps practices
  • Practical skills with Infrastructure as Code, using tools like Bicep or Terraform
  • Hands-on .NET development experience, particularly with C#
  • Comfortable using Python for automation or tooling
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
  • Experience maintaining a reliable production environment using technologies such as serverless architectures, containerisation (e.g., Docker), or orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
