Responsibilities
MYOB is redefining Order to Cash on Workday. As our Workday Integration Developer, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of the integration landscape, where you will be crafting, delivering, and running secure, high-performing integrations across Workday Financials and connected platforms.
You’ll drive continuous improvement, set high standards for data quality and governance, and partner closely with platform teams and functional experts to deliver scalable, reliable systems whilst contributing to a strong, collaborative engineering culture.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for integration issue resolution, troubleshooting, and enhancements, including intake, triage, ticket management, root cause analysis, and preventative actions.
Requirements
Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of Workday integrations supporting Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, and Prism, including build/configuration, monitoring, SLAs/OLAs, incident, problem, and change management.
Hands-on proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface)/DT (Data Transport), RaaS, Calculated Fields, Report Writer, BIRT development and Workday business process awareness.
Solid experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, REST, SOAP, Java, Kotlin.
Familiarity with API-led connectivity and event-driven architectures.
Understanding of Finance data models and upstream/downstream integrations (HR and Payroll knowledge is preferred)
Practical knowledge of the Workday security model (domain policies, role-based access) and secure handling of PII, auditability, and segregation of duties.
Proficiency with source control (Git) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Jenkins), environment promotion and automated testing frameworks.
Experience with monitoring and logging (e.g., Workday Integration Dashboard, Splunk/Datadog) and supporting production incidents with strong problem-solving skills.
Deep understanding of SDLC and agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Continuous Delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong collaborator engagement.
Workday Integration certification(s) highly desirable; Workday Studio certification preferred
