About the role

• Junior Engineer providing engineering support for oil and gas projects in Fort Wayne. Collaborating with senior engineers and involved in design, testing, and feasibility studies.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of more senior engineering staff.
• Provide day to day support in the area of engineering for all projects.
• Develop and maintain structural, systems and controls and or other engineering specifications, procedures and directives.
• Participate in pre-production meetings for pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, pressure vessels.
• Participate in materials testing programs and research and development.
• Work with other Junior Engineers on routine projects and continue to receive training and development on the job.
• May provide technical guidance to technicians and support to other professionals.
• Design materials, structures, and systems while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost.
• Conduct feasibility studies, resource requirements both people and materials and setting standards for both operating and development activities.
• Responsible for general engineering support for capital projects for oil and natural gas facilities.
• Accountable for providing general engineering support as directed by engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• 0 to 4 years of experience
