Junior Engineer providing engineering support for oil and gas projects in Fort Wayne. Collaborating with senior engineers and involved in design, testing, and feasibility studies.
Responsibilities
Works under the direction of more senior engineering staff.
Provide day to day support in the area of engineering for all projects.
Develop and maintain structural, systems and controls and or other engineering specifications, procedures and directives.
Participate in pre-production meetings for pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, pressure vessels.
Participate in materials testing programs and research and development.
Work with other Junior Engineers on routine projects and continue to receive training and development on the job.
May provide technical guidance to technicians and support to other professionals.
Design materials, structures, and systems while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost.
Conduct feasibility studies, resource requirements both people and materials and setting standards for both operating and development activities.
Responsible for general engineering support for capital projects for oil and natural gas facilities.
Accountable for providing general engineering support as directed by engineering teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
0 to 4 years of experience
