Responsibilities

  • Assist with site investigations, including soil and rock logging to BS5930 standards.
  • Supervise drilling and sampling operations.
  • Collect and manage geotechnical and geoenvironmental data.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare factual reports and contribute to project documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct groundwater and gas monitoring, sampling, and perform in-situ geotechnical tests in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

  • A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in ground investigation and geotechnical engineering.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions across the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Full rights to work in UK.
