- Research new controls solutions such as sensors, actuators, VFDs, and networks
- Develop custom air handler solutions by selecting components, generating schematic drawings, and preparing parts lists
- Support new product development with conceptual designs and layouts
- Develop controls programs for complex air handlers and heat transfer systems
- Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities through improved product design / design for manufacturing (DFM)
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or 5 years of experience in Data Center controls & diagrams
- Application of control loops to provide machine control
- Programming for controllers (DDC/PLC)
- AutoCAD Electrical experience
- Understanding of HVAC Systems
