About the role

  • Elektroingenieur managing CO₂-neutral energy projects through planning and execution in Chemnitz. Involvement in project management and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • You will take on project responsibilities for new-build projects in the area of CO2‑neutral power generation
  • You will be responsible for the electrical design, planning and installation of new plants as well as plant modifications
  • You will prepare and revise technical specifications and actively participate in procurement and contract awarding
  • You will monitor planning and construction execution and ensure compliance with quality, budget and schedule requirements
  • You will manage cost control, change orders and variation management within the respective construction projects
  • You will work closely with internal and external partners, inspection bodies and authorities

Requirements

  • You have a completed university degree (Diploma/Master), preferably in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a comparable discipline
  • You have several years of professional or project experience in plant engineering
  • You possess knowledge of project management and the associated methods
  • You apply industry-specific regulations (e.g., DIN and VDE standards, DGUV) with confidence
  • You have very good MS Office skills and are familiar with electrical design and calculation software
  • You have solid English skills
  • You hold a valid driving licence (Class B / former Class 3)
  • You demonstrate a confident presence, diplomatic tact, strong communication skills, ability to cooperate, assertiveness and a goal-oriented mindset
