About the role

  • Lead Engineer managing testing and documentation for Europe's first certified Level-4 autonomy system while collaborating across technical teams. Drive strategy for test automation in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team capacity and competency planning to ensure resources are aligned with project requirements
  • Develop and take ownership of system verification and integration plans in close collaboration with development teams and project stakeholders to align goals
  • Define clear acceptance criteria for system requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Create and execute detailed test cases to validate systems, hardware, and software
  • Lead the overall validation and verification strategy, including selecting tools and processes to build an adaptable and efficient test environment
  • Drive test automation by designing automation schemes and integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines
  • Support and maintain test infrastructure, equipment, and tools while continuously innovating existing solutions
  • Analyze test results, identify risks, prepare verification reports, and communicate key metrics to stakeholders and management

Requirements

  • Completed degree in engineering (Software, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics) or another relevant technical field
  • At least seven years of hands-on testing experience in Automotive ADAS
  • Experience leading initiatives and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Practical experience in verification and validation of safety-critical systems according to ISO 26262
  • Strong hands-on programming and scripting skills in C++ and Python or a language commonly used in this domain
  • Practical experience in developing test automation and conducting Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) tests
  • Solid knowledge of automotive communication protocols, including CAN and Ethernet
  • Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their core concepts
  • Practical experience with ASPICE and agile development methodologies
  • Practical experience with simulation platforms such as CARLA and middleware like ROS2 is a plus
  • Experience or knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR and the QNX operating system
