About the role

  • Financial Specialist maintaining organization and punctuality in administrative activities for a mobility company. Ensuring proper payments, documentation, and financial compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organization and timeliness of the area’s main administrative activities.
  • Control and execute necessary payments, organize financing documentation, and create and keep Motiva’s registrations updated with banks, B3, and other institutions; support and follow up with concessionaires to update their registrations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with creditors, rating agencies, and fiduciary agents/trustees.
  • Be prepared to respond to requests for documents and clarifications; when matters involve concessionaires, manage and ensure correct information is submitted on time.
  • Calculate or support the calculation of financial covenants, and maintain monitoring of the compliance status of financial and non-financial covenants for all group financings.
  • Perform calculations based on management of the required information; periodically monitor the control system; interact with concessionaires/divisions to update status; and prepare periodic reports on status and outstanding items.
  • Maintain control and monitor the status of information required for audits.
  • Organize incoming requests, responding within your scope/knowledge or engaging other colleagues for support when needed; provide support for preparing various presentations and reports. Under guidance from consultants and/or your manager, prepare initial draft versions for subsequent adjustments. Conduct cash flow analyses, financial statement reviews, and financial modeling.
  • Develop scenarios that consider the full range of impacts for the Motiva group, always with a financial perspective using projected income statement (IS), cash flow statement (CFS) and balance sheet (BS), and derive comparable results using appropriate finance metrics and indicators (for example, IRR and NPV).
  • Support execution of related activities such as sending documentation, producing spreadsheets, contract review and signing, preparing presentations, completing registrations, and maintaining contact with concessionaires, among others.
  • Support analysis of counter-guarantee contracts (CCGs) and interface with brokers, together with the GBS team involved in operations, assisting with document transmission between the insurer and Motiva and coordinating with the consultant, Legal-Finance, and the broker.
  • This role also carries responsibility for compliance and anti-bribery activities, given that the position and area represent a higher-than-low compliance and bribery risk. Activities under this role are part of Motiva’s compliance and anti-bribery management system in accordance with ABNT NBR ISO37301 and ISO37001.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Corporate Finance and basic Accounting, Financial-Economic Modeling, and preparation of presentations
  • Languages: Fluent English; Intermediate Spanish
