About the role

Responsibilities
- Be a trusted adviser and partner to the Pensions & Investments teams.
- Advise on the development of our pensions and investments offering.
- Support teams in managing third parties involved in the provision of pensions and investments services.
- Equip the team to deal with developments in the regulatory landscape.
- Work with Risk and Control closely to identify and manage legal and regulatory risks.
- Prioritise thoughtfully across pensions and investments activities.
- Develop and implement processes for efficiency and scalability of legal advice.
- Deliver training and share insights from work.
Requirements
- Experience advising on personal pensions and/or retail investments platforms with around 5 years + relevant post qualification experience.
- Outstanding technical skills and an understanding of regulatory and tax issues for pensions and investments.
- Team player and natural collaborator who is passionate about effecting change.
- Strategic thinker, strong communicator and keen problem solver.
- Willing to handle a wide range of legal issues, even outside core areas of expertise in a proactive way.
- Comfortable operating at all levels of the organisation up to the Executive.
