About the role
- Merchandiser Order Writer ensuring iconic brands like Oreo and Ritz are showcased and stocked at retail locations. Building relationships with store personnel while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as you are the face of these iconic brands/owners of the biscuit aisle.
- Serve as the face of the company, delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers.
- Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos, via digital merchandising initiative (DMI).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support execution and visibility of our brands.
- Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce.
- Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with your Retail Territory Manager (RTM)-negotiated plans with the stores.
- Follow daily schedules and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues.
- Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high visibility merchandising events.
- Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team.
- Stay Safe & Compliant, embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; or can earn your GED while gaining the skills!
- 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred
- Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.
- Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
- Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stockroom to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.
- Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Medford, MA
- Schedule availability required: 4 days a week and one weekend day required
