Contribute to achieving Operational results by supporting all offshore unit activities related to Instrumentation Systems from a technical assistance perspective, performing and supervising corrective/preventive maintenance and executing projects that require onshore support (including proactive campaigns) or on-site work, developing design solutions and defining work packages, developing/monitoring/analyzing appropriate KPIs and meaningful statistics and establishing actions to eliminate bottlenecks, promoting continuous improvement.
Maintain equipment availability and ensure maintenance tasks are completed on schedule according to the maintenance plan, seeking maximum compliance and economically viable operation and maintenance, identifying execution improvements and opportunities to reduce backlog.
Act proactively to protect MODEC from non-compliance with legal/regulatory requirements and technical standards, complying with all technical specifications and procedures related to the Instrumentation discipline, participating in internal/external audits and creating action plans to correct non-conformities.
Ensure technical operational alignment by participating in technical review meetings with the client.
Provide appropriate technical evaluation of service providers for pre-qualification, developing detailed technical scopes of work to support the Procurement team in the bidding process, and evaluate and approve technical proposals for those bids. Technically approve contract extensions and be the responsible contact for contracted suppliers, monitoring planning, execution and service closure, and approving reports and BMs.
Improve the quality of processes related to corrective and preventive maintenance and their execution by conducting technical assessments based on procedures and standards and implementing maintenance strategies and practices, including planning and executing workflows, to be used across the Fleet, following corporate procedures and communicating with the Maintenance Committee and key stakeholders (Operations Teams and Offshore Teams).
Provide technical support to all tiers, resolving issues or queries, for example by responding to MOCs (Management of Change), TQs (Technical Queries) or making RCA (Root Cause Analysis) recommendations and safety studies upon request.
Contribute to capturing lessons learned for future development and improvement of EPCI projects within the scope of the Instrumentation discipline, documenting and preparing closing reports appropriately.
Support the People Department in recruitment, selection, training and competency assessment of human resources by conducting technical interviews and providing technical knowledge to support the preparation of documentation and training programs based on operational experience.
Know, reinforce and ensure full compliance with corporate safety requirements for installations and services, including NR-10, NR-13, NR-30, NR-37, ABNT NBR IEC 60079, ANSI/ISA 5.1, and other statutory, regulatory, flag and class requirements.
Ensure integrity and investigate failures and incidents in Instruments, Sensors, Control/Instrumented Valves, Environmental Monitoring Systems, Motion and Oceanographic systems and other equipment related to the discipline, boarding offshore units whenever necessary, performing root cause analysis, preparing work packages, technical reports, maintenance documentation and procedures with technical responsibility annotation.
Ensure maximum compliance with HSSEQ legal/regulatory requirements and technical standards, boarding for investigation and technical support for HSSE Accidents & Incidents that are not related to maintenance, when necessary.
Contribute to the vessel POB planning, maintaining close contact with IA Planners and analyzing and validating the Maintenance Service Forecast, as well as monitoring the integrated maintenance plan.
Support the corporate annual budget planning for Opex and Capex for Instrumentation Systems, providing information based on past experience, maintenance history, technical knowledge and market best practices and mapping potential risks to support management decisions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the IMS by tracking and updating project status, monitoring implementation and updating IMS documents under the responsibility of the Instrumentation discipline.
