About the role
- Technical Consultant – Full Stack Developer at Daon, focusing on digital identity solutions and integration with existing systems. Collaborating with global teams and supporting mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit test solution components for customer deployments, with particular focus on: TrustX integration and configuration.
- Python scripting for orchestration, automation, and integration tasks
- SPA-based web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- RESTful APIs and event-driven integration patterns
- Collaborate with Daon’s global services and product development teams to deliver identity onboarding and authentication solutions.
- Support the pre-sales function by assisting customers in understanding how Daon’s platforms integrate into their existing application architecture.
- Deliver software support, development, testing, documentation, training, and quality assurance tasks as required.
- Continuously develop technical expertise and adopt new technologies and programming languages where appropriate.
- Introduce best practices and innovative approaches to improve system performance, usability, and delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally within product-focused environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
- Server-side development experience using Python or Java, including architecture and REST web services
- Experience working across Windows and Linux environments
- Understanding of TLS, authentication, and authorization frameworks
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, authentication flows, and secure integrations
- Experience working within cloud-hosted SaaS environments (AWS preferred)
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
