About the role
- Mechanical Engineering Team Leader designing and developing thermal solutions for autonomous driving systems at Mobileye. Leading a team and driving innovative engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on design of thermal-mechanical solutions.
- Lead a team of three engineers.
- Perform 2D/3D mechanical design, including detailed drawings and release to manufacturing.
- Design components such as heat sinks and EMC/EMI gaskets, with strong ownership of thermal performance.
- Drive full lifecycle: design, prototyping, validation, and NPI.
- Solve complex mechanical and thermal challenges and serve as a technical focal point.
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical & thermal engineers, ensuring delivery and growth.
- Collaborate closely with HW, layout, EMC/EMI experts, subcontractors, and customers.
Requirements
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical and thermal design
- At least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead or in a managerial role.
- Proven hands-on expertise in thermal solutions
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D/3D) and experience taking products from development to production
- Experience working with subcontractors and NPI processes
