About the role
- Responsible AI Lead overseeing governance and risk management for AI applications in a large data-driven organization. Ensuring conformity and facilitating the secure deployment of AI usage.
Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the policy for the use of artificial intelligence
- Implement standards for documentation, traceability (prompts, sources, decisions) and versioning
- Structure the governance framework in coordination with data, IT and business teams
- Conduct risk analyses by use case
- Classify systems (limited risk, high risk, etc.)
- Define appropriate control mechanisms (testing, supervision, validation)
- Coordinate interactions with control functions (legal, data protection, security)
- Define and manage strategies for non-functional testing (robustness, bias, security, hallucinations, drifts)
- Establish validation criteria (go / no-go) prior to production deployment
- Oversee the production of compliance deliverables
- Maintain the AI systems registry
- Organize audits and monitor associated action plans
- Implement monitoring mechanisms (incidents, logging, performance)
- Monitor system reliability over time
- Define usage and consumption rules
- Track costs and propose optimizations
- Formalize guidelines and a Responsible AI charter
- Raise awareness and train teams on responsible AI issues
Requirements
- Solid experience in AI governance, risk management or compliance
- Good knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AI Act, GDPR)
- Familiarity with modern AI architectures (LLMs, RAG)
- Understanding of MLOps and industrialization challenges
- Experience in management or cross-functional leadership
- Soft skills:
- Leadership and the ability to structure a governance framework
- Strong influencing skills in complex environments
- Analytical mindset and rigor
- Comfortable engaging with executive management and decision-making bodies
