About the role

  • Financial Analyst at Mirego responsible for revenue reliability and performance analysis through financial intelligence models and dashboards. Collaborating with sales and operations teams to improve project profitability.

Responsibilities

  • You advise the sales team on pricing, terms, and risks; you challenge margin and delivery assumptions.
  • You build P&Ls by project and by team and identify improvement opportunities.
  • You design and deploy dashboards and ensure data consistency to inform the team about billable hours, sales cycle, and more broadly, all activities that influence revenue and finances.
  • You develop cost and pricing models (T&M, fixed-price, retainers); perform sensitivity analyses, scenarios, and break-even thresholds.
  • You analyze project profitability to advise the sales team on pricing and terms in our contracts.
  • You ensure operational rigour (traceability, templates) and timesheet quality to measure project progress and maximize tax credits (AI CDAE, SR&ED).
  • You handle complete billing (preparation, documentation, sending, follow-up), conduct structured collection efforts to reduce payment delays, and qualify clients (credit checks) while securing payment commitments.
  • You contribute to monthly financial analyses (revenue reconciliation, work-in-progress assessment, revenue recognition for services/fixed-price/SaaS, and budget reconciliations), and you support continuous improvement as well as audits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance or business intelligence within a technology organization (digital solutions, professional services, consulting, or agencies).
  • Fluency in French and English to interact on contracts, RFPs, and client communications.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence tools.
  • Comfort with business intelligence/data modelling tools (e.g., Zoho Analytics, Excel/Sheets, etc.).
  • Demonstrate rigour, organization, and autonomy; be results-oriented; demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as sustained attention to data quality and compliance.
  • Ability to handle various operational topics and quickly master new tools and processes.
  • Understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
