About the role

Project Manager at Minsait managing data projects using AI for critical efficiency. Collaborating with technical teams and aligning projects with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Manage the entire project lifecycle for the portfolio presented to the client, being responsible for delivering data projects that leverage AI to increase efficiency in the company's critical initiatives.
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), hybrid approaches and waterfall is required to manage the project lifecycle.
Ability to define scope, schedule, budget and resources, and to coordinate teams and stakeholders while ensuring effective communication.
Understanding of the Databricks Lakehouse architecture and how it unifies the data warehouse and data lake to simplify and accelerate value delivery.
Familiarity with building and managing data pipelines (batch and streaming) using Databricks tools such as Delta Lake, Apache Spark and Databricks SQL.
Manage initiatives involving the Databricks platform, such as building data lakes, performing data migrations, implementing ML models and creating analytics dashboards.

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience managing Databricks-related projects, combining traditional management skills with a deep understanding of the platform and the data ecosystem.
Serve as a bridge between the business area and technical teams (engineering, data science and analytics), ensuring that data and AI projects meet the company's strategic objectives.
Align data and AI projects with the organization's business goals, focusing on deliveries that generate real value.
Motivate cross-functional teams (data engineers, data scientists, business analysts), promoting collaboration and problem solving.
Knowledge of Databricks' key capabilities, including the Lakehouse environment, to efficiently orchestrate data workflows.
Strong foundation in areas such as data engineering, data science, machine learning (ML) and business intelligence (BI).
Advantage: proficiency in English or Spanish.
