About the role

  • Develop and maintain VB applications using ASP.NET Web Forms for Minsait in hybrid team settings. Collaborate on software development life cycle and multidisciplinary project engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain VB applications using ASP.NET Web Forms ( .NET Framework 4.0 ).
  • Create and integrate APIs using .NET.
  • Perform queries, optimizations and data manipulation in Oracle databases using PL/SQL.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, technical analysis, development, testing and deployment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (business, QA, infrastructure and product).
  • Ensure code quality and adherence to established standards.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving bugs and production incidents.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with PL/SQL (Oracle).
  • Knowledge of VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms (.NET Framework 4.0).
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs with .NET.
  • Familiarity with source control (Git).
  • Good programming logic and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Spanish for communication with clients and international teams.
  • Nice to have – Experience in the insurance sector (life, auto, health, etc.).
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Basic understanding of software architecture and best practices (SOLID, design patterns).
