About the role

  • CNC Programmer and Process Coordinator overseeing CNC programming processes and ensuring efficiency at Heraeus. Focus on technical expertise and collaboration with engineering for quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee CNC programming processes and ensure precision, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards
  • Apply expert knowledge of FANUC G/M code, Heidenhain TNC 640, and Renishaw Probe and Laser systems
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality to develop, optimize, and validate CNC programs for maximum efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain and update CNC programming databases to ensure consistency and compliance with production standards
  • Diagnose and resolve CNC-related issues, coordinating tool/material flow
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, production, and quality teams to coordinate assignments
  • Work with vendors to source and order support equipment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required; advanced technical training preferred
  • Minimum 7+ years of CNC programming experience
  • Expert-level proficiency in Mastercam and 5-axis programming
  • Strong understanding of Blueprint Reading, GD&T, and advanced inspection tools and methods
  • Ability to detect, isolate, and correct irregularities in machinery and equipment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes and competing priorities
  • Safety-oriented, mature, and detail-driven work ethic
