About the role

  • Retirement Analyst at Reynolds American supporting financial wellbeing education and managing 401(k) plan administration. Collaborating with vendors and internal teams for employee engagement and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Promote financial wellbeing opportunities for employees. This includes drafting and reviewing email communications or resources to be posted.
  • Also includes creating presentations and presenting materials to new hires or education sessions to employee groups.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendor and internal communication teams to keep employees engaged and apprised of opportunities for financial education.
  • Seek opportunities for vendors to be on-site or support in ways that work best for various employee segments.
  • Manage our Employee Education Plan (Tuition Reimbursement) and third-party vendor in administration of that program.
  • Oversee our Executive Financial Wellbeing resources by notifying vendors of newly eligible participants and letting newly eligible participants know about new resource options.
  • Keep advisors informed of any benefit changes that may impact executives.
  • Administration of 401(k) and severance plans.
  • Back-up to Benefits Analyst in activities such as 401(k) funding, and interface error resolutions
  • Facilitate corrections as needed for 401(k) with third-party record keeper and/or payroll
  • Support certain cyclical activities such 401(k) reconciliations and non-qualified plan administrative processes that require excel skills such as lookups and advanced formulas
  • Assist in Severance plan administration, data reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Assist in participant escalations working with company and vendor call centers to resolve inquiries timely
  • Support team in ongoing process improvements, process documentation updates and various processes as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in corporate business environment
  • 2+ years in 401(k) plan administration; experience in financial wellbeing programs preferred but not required
  • Experience in administrative, analytical or project management role demonstrating organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Adaptable to changing business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and respond quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high level, responsive customer service in a business environment
