About the role

  • Specialist in Power BI architecture and governance for Minerva Foods, a leading meat exporter in South America. Implementing Microsoft Fabric and ensuring business analytics effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy the enterprise Power BI architecture based on Microsoft Fabric (or similar) and market best practices, ensuring performance, best-practice guidance, and access release processes;
  • Structure and govern Development, Staging (Homologation) and Production environments, ensuring segregation, control and quality, with a particular focus on processing speed of information;
  • Plan and manage capacity, licensing and scalability of Power BI/Fabric for high volumes of users and data;
  • Define standards for workspaces, deployment pipelines, versioning and lifecycle of analytical artifacts, and establish metrics for monitoring environment performance;
  • Ensure the performance of reports, datasets, semantic models and queries;
  • Define required security best practices, access control (RLS/OLS) and compliance measures;
  • Collaborate with data, analytics, IT and business teams to enable democratic use of the platform;
  • Monitor platform usage, performance and costs, proposing continuous improvements;
  • Contribute to the definition of guidelines, documentation and corporate BI governance;
  • Provide technical support to development teams and advanced users.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with Power BI in large-scale corporate environments;
  • Deep knowledge of Power BI architecture and Microsoft Fabric (Workspaces, Capacities, OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse);
  • Experience creating and managing segregated environments (Dev / Staging / Prod);
  • Strong expertise in semantic modeling, DAX and dataset optimization;
  • Experience with Power BI / Fabric deployment pipelines;
  • Knowledge of security and governance, including RLS, OLS and integration with Azure;
  • Experience with monitoring performance, usage and capacity;
  • Knowledge of integrations with corporate data sources (SQL, Oracle, APIs, Data Lake).
