About the role

• Senior Frontend Developer responsible for developing responsive web applications for Mindera using React.js and collaborating closely with the team for performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing high-quality, responsive web applications using React.js
• Work closely with the team to ensure the applications are performant, scalable, and maintainable.
• Design and implement new features, writing clean and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in frontend development
• An expertise in React web application development and working experience in .Net and C# based services and API development. Hands on knowledge in .Net applications would come handy and will be differentiating skill for this role
• Experience in technically leading an Agile team will come handy
• Very good experience in working in Agile teams that follow Agile principles and has a good knowledge of Agile. The Engineer should have an appreciation of Agile principles that goes beyond knowing what it is.
• Quality is the core of the Engineering and the Engineering team is expected to focus on quality as much as development since our work environment is working in Shift-Left mode of development practice (where Quality assurance is not a phase but is part of the development process right from the inception of requirement). An experience of having led teams that have adopted Shift left methodology of development would come handy. If not, the Engineer must be able to adapt quickly and guide the team towards adopting the Shift Left mode of development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Git)
• Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)
• Knowledge of backend technologies and RESTful APIs
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Previous experience working in an Agile development environment
• Ability to mentor and coach junior developers.
