About the role
- Full stack developer contributing to planning, development, testing, and deployment of eLABS solution at Mezzanine. Working with Java and SQL in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- You'll be part of an exciting journey that spans planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Our products are hosted on our Helium Platform and include 3rd party APIs integrations, web applications, and cross-platform mobile apps written in JavaScript.
- The team works with a tech stack that includes Java 1.8, PostgreSQL 11, Git, and JavaScript.
- Produce work that is of high quality, impacting lives positively across Africa.
Requirements
- 8+ years' of relevant development experience
- Strong SQL experience, i.e. strong data processing skills (statistical analysis experience will be beneficial).
- Advantageous: Experience in Java
- Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with NLP and chatbot development.
- Experience with the WhatsApp Business API and other messaging platforms.
