About the role

  • Softwareentwickler designing and programming games for money-winning devices at MERKUR. Collaborating with quality assurance and game designers to enhance software.

Responsibilities

  • Development and programming of game concepts for cash-prize gaming machines
  • Programming in C++ and C#
  • Implementation of game flows and visualization of the games
  • Analysis, optimization and extension of the software in collaboration with Quality Assurance and game designers
  • Development of tools and test functions

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or alternatively completed vocational training as an IT Specialist in Application Development (m/f/d)
  • Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming and UML
  • Confident working with the programming languages C++ and C#
  • Ideally, initial experience in game development using DirectX or a game engine such as Unity or Godot
  • Familiarity with the version control systems GIT and SVN
  • Ability to work independently to develop solutions in an IT environment
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • High degree of teamwork, flexibility and reliability
