About the role
- Softwareentwickler designing and programming games for money-winning devices at MERKUR. Collaborating with quality assurance and game designers to enhance software.
Responsibilities
- Development and programming of game concepts for cash-prize gaming machines
- Programming in C++ and C#
- Implementation of game flows and visualization of the games
- Analysis, optimization and extension of the software in collaboration with Quality Assurance and game designers
- Development of tools and test functions
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or alternatively completed vocational training as an IT Specialist in Application Development (m/f/d)
- Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming and UML
- Confident working with the programming languages C++ and C#
- Ideally, initial experience in game development using DirectX or a game engine such as Unity or Godot
- Familiarity with the version control systems GIT and SVN
- Ability to work independently to develop solutions in an IT environment
- Very good German and English language skills
- High degree of teamwork, flexibility and reliability
