About the role
- Senior IT Admin responsible for network and Linux system management for gaming operations in Niedersachsen. Engaging with technology partners to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Co-design and operate the company’s network infrastructures
- Monitor the functionality of servers and automated IT processes
- Act as the first point of contact for user requests on a rotating basis
- Set up users with all required devices, applications and permissions
- Maintain Windows and Linux systems
- Work across all support levels (First, Second, Third)
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Communicate with users, vendors and service providers
- Gradually assume responsibility for a portion of the deployed IT systems
Requirements
- University degree with a focus on computer science
- Solid and broad professional knowledge (servers and networks)
- Several years of professional experience operating IT systems
- In-depth knowledge in the core areas of networking, Linux and virtualization
- Programming skills, preferably in multiple languages
- Team spirit, commitment and strong communication skills
- Willingness to support IT systems in all aspects (from planning to deployment)
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Valid driver’s license
