About the role

  • Senior Power Electronics Engineer responsible for leading power system analysis and design of UPS solutions. Engaging in technical reporting, validation testing, and collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead power system analysis, engineering, design, modeling, and specifications of UPS and Energy Storage Solutions
  • Prepare and present technical reports, designs and proposals
  • Support manufacturing, installation, and field verification of UPS Solutions
  • Perform systems engineering activities driving requirements development, verification, and validation of power electronics
  • Manage design of overseas partners and vendors
  • Lead validation testing on new designs and products
  • Compile and analyze operational, test and research data to establish performance standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with design of large converters, inverters, UPS solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of electric power systems
  • Advanced circuit and system analysis using simulation tools (MatLAB, PSCAD, Simulink, PSpice)
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, presentation and technical writing skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products.
