About the role

• Junior Consultant advising asset-intensive companies on strategic organizational issues while collaborating with teams and applying classical consulting methods. Seeking innovative solutions for complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• You advise our clients from asset-intensive industries (e.g., water or energy network operators) on strategic and organizational issues and, together with your team, develop creative solutions for complex challenges.
• The focus is on applying classical strategy-consulting methods in technical domains.
• From the start you take responsibility in projects and, as part of the team, are directly involved in all project phases.
• You conduct research, structure complex problem areas, analyze relevant data and derive actionable recommendations (benchmarking, variance analyses, SWOT analyses, etc.).
• You support the project lead in running workshops (on-site or remote), communicate with stakeholders at all levels and attend all project meetings.
• With your creative ideas you drive internal initiatives forward and help build company-wide knowledge.

Requirements

• You have an above-average degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a business or technical field (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Psychology, Civil Engineering, Energy and Process Engineering, ...)
• You have already gained initial practical experience in consulting or project work through internships or working-student positions.
• You are characterized by analytical and conceptual skills as well as strategic, pragmatic and entrepreneurial thinking.
• You are strong in communication and possess very good German and English skills.
• You are willing to travel to advise our clients on-site.
