About the role

  • Accountant managing sales invoices and client payments for Mediatech, a fast-growing digital publishing house with significant industry impact. Collaborating with internal teams to enhance billing and receivables processes.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and manage sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor incoming payments and allocate them correctly in the accounting system
  • Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and communicate with clients regarding overdue payments
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Affiliate or Sales) to resolve billing-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to receivables
  • Prepare AR and aging reports, providing insights on outstanding balances
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation of AR workflows and debt management processes
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Finance team or Chief Accountant

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting, or Finance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Good communication skills (especially for client interactions)
  • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Navision, Business Central)
  • Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
