About the role

• Application Integration Engineer for Mediagenix driving innovation in media company software solutions. Managing application lifecycles and promoting technology adoption in the Business Support Team.

Responsibilities

• You will lead technology innovation and adoption initiatives across the organization.
• You will closely monitor technology trends and identify potential efficiency improvements in back-office processes.
• You will participate in selecting the tool or solution that best meets the company’s needs.
• Building and maintaining interfaces between applications will be one of the primary challenges of the role.
• You will manage internal applications and vendor solution integrations to ensure seamless operations.
• You will support the application acquisition process and manage vendor relationships.
• You will ensure that service levels, data consistency and recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) are met between applications and that applications comply with information security (infosec) requirements.
• You will promote a culture of innovation within Mediagenix.
• You will research and experiment with how AI can be applied within the company’s applications.

Requirements

• You are qualified in systems and application integration and migration.
• You are skilled in automation and scripting, ideally with Python, Power Automate or PowerShell.
• You are comfortable with data analysis and use insights to drive decisions.
• You challenge the status quo and collaborate effectively between business and technical teams.
• A key competency for this role is a hands-on, detail-oriented, solution-focused approach. You excel at analysis, documentation and thinking outside the box.
• You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering or Business Engineering with a specialization in Data Analysis.
• You have 3 years of IT experience and have worked with ETL — junior candidates are also welcome.
• You have a strong understanding of the application lifecycle and can effectively manage each phase while ensuring IT strategy supports the company’s evolving needs.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Jira is a plus.
• You have excellent English communication skills.
