Responsibilities
Conduct technical site visits to identify occupational hazards through on-site inspections at client workplaces, observing processes, activities, and environmental conditions to identify potential risks, support the preparation of programs, reports, and technical opinions, and recommend necessary preventive measures.
Carry out quantitative environmental assessments at client workplaces using calibrated equipment such as dosimeters, gravimetric pumps, and sound level meters to obtain accurate technical data on exposure to physical, chemical, and biological agents, supporting the preparation of programs, reports, and technical opinions required by legislation and regulatory standards.
Perform occupational risk analyses at client sites by evaluating field-collected information and comparing it with applicable legislation and standards to classify risks, support the development of technical documents, and advise on control measures that reduce worker exposure.
Receive and validate checklists from field technicians' site visits, verifying correct completion according to established standards to ensure the reliability of records for compliance tracking and to support the preparation of programs, reports, and technical opinions.
Prepare OHS technical documents by drafting reports, technical opinions, programs, and other documents based on collected data to formalize technical information and meet clients' legal and contractual requirements.
Develop and deliver OHS training both online and in-person by preparing training materials, applying participatory methodologies, and using digital resources to train workers and managers and promote awareness and compliance with safety standards.
Inspect work environments, observing activities, physical conditions, machinery, and equipment, and record nonconformities to propose corrective and preventive actions that promote safer, compliant workplaces.
Provide OHS technical guidance to clients by responding to requests via email, meetings, or visits, grounded in legislation and best practices to support managers and workers in decision-making related to health and safety.
Participate in technical meetings with clients, attending in-person or virtual meetings to align actions and clarify doubts, ensuring clear and transparent communication and alignment between the consulting team and the client.
Enter and update information on hazards, medical exams, trainings, and documents in the SOC system to centralize and organize OHS data for monitoring and efficient management.
Provide training on the use of the SOC system by explaining functionality, conducting practical demonstrations, and answering questions to promote client autonomy and reduce registration errors.
Conduct on-site technical analyses through inspections and field observations to support the preparation of programs, technical reports, and other documents.
Perform other related professional activities inherent to the position as needed or requested by the area, including through training, professional qualification, and guidance from the immediate supervisor to ensure continuous professional development.
Requirements
Technical degree/diploma in Occupational Safety
Experience in occupational hygiene and evaluation of environmental agents (physical, chemical, biological)
Experience preparing technical documents such as PGR, LTCAT, technical reports, and occupational safety reports
Knowledge of OHS management systems (such as SOC)
