Responsibilities
Provide investigation and litigation support to the False Claims Division.
Work closely with Division attorneys and staff on a wide variety of matters.
Organize and maintain files, including all e-discovery and hotline complaints/intakes.
Review discovery materials and conduct legal research to support case development.
Assist with deposition, court, and trial preparation.
Prepare various monthly, quarterly and annual reports and assist with data tracking.
Support the implementation and presentation of Division priorities.
Communicate with complainants, whistleblowers and witnesses.
Draft correspondence, create various memos, and other written work products.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (including word processing, database, and spreadsheet software programs), and ability to learn software applications used in legal settings.
Ability to multitask and demonstrate proficient time-management skills in handling several objectives concurrently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality on all matters handled by the Division.
Excellent work ethic, great attention to detail, and a desire to work in the public interest.
