About the role
- AVP in Technology responsible for Middleware J2EE Platforms at MashreqBank. Ensure service stability, compliance, and support for J2EE systems and applications.
Responsibilities
- Ensure service stability, uptime of the systems under the portfolio as per the agreed SLA
- Provide L3 support in the respective support areas and act on technical escalations
- Provide on-call support, BAU and projects
- Maintain systems in adherence with the audit and compliance requirements
- Manage and closely work with application teams by supporting J2EE platforms

- 15+ Year Experience in Middleware J2EE Platforms - Websphere, Weblogic, Jboss, Tomcat in UNIX (AIX, LINUX, HP UX and Windows Servers)
- Installation, Deployment and configurations for Websphere, Weblogic, Jboss, Tomcat
- Opex (AMC) management for Middleware products in J2EE platforms
- Capex management for Middleware products in J2EE platforms
- Upgrade of Websphere, Weblogic, Jboss, Tomcat
- License compliance
- Audit management for J2EE platforms
- Incident, Change and Problem Management for J2EE platforms
- Cross Platforms support for Unix, Storage, Virtualization, Database
