About the role
- Accountant responsible for financial reporting and compliance for Antech Diagnostics in France. Collaborating with finance operations and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and analyse financial records for Antech Diagnostics France
- Ensure accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely financial information to support business decisions
- Manage accounting and financial reporting for the Antech Diagnostics France entity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls
- Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations (bank, accruals, prepayments, payroll, benefits, and fixed assets), resolving discrepancies promptly
- Maintain the fixed asset register, monitor capital expenditure, and support month-end close, including P&L preparation and cost reporting
- Perform variance analysis and ensure accurate recognition of revenues and expenses
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, providing analysis and recommendations to improve processes and efficiency
- Assist with internal and external audits and maintain accounting procedures, documentation, and controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and internal controls (US GAAP knowledge preferred)
- Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting)
- Experience with ERP systems (IFS8 knowledge is an advantage)
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
