About the role
- Manager in GWAM Operations overseeing financial activities for Global Wealth and Asset Management. Driving reporting, analysis, and collaboration with functional business partners.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the financial activities pertaining to the support of Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM)
- Drive the development and maintenance of monthly financials, efficiency metric analysis, reporting, planning, and forecasting
- Provide streamlined support and thoughtful analysis to both functional leaders and the segment expense teams
- Conduct financial and business reviews
- Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills for expense review
- Lead enhancements in reporting processes
- Support multiple markets by prioritizing tasks and managing resources
- Play a key role in the Expense Management leadership team
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- Master’s in Finance or MBA preferred
- CPA or advanced degree highly desirable
- 6-8 years of experience in progressive accounting roles
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, negotiation, and influence
- Self-starter with independent judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of complex GL package (Lawson, Essbase, Anaplan) is an asset
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
