Responsibilities
Build and maintain a strong referral network with internal partners and external advisors
Lead prospect meetings, contributing to needs analysis, solution design and proposal development
Collaborate on the development and delivery of client pitches and presentations
Demonstrate a deep understanding of a HNW private wealth offering, including financial planning and investment solutions
Organize and lead roadshows and webinars to educate on MPW's value proposition
Attend client and industry events to build relationships with prospects and referring partners
Deliver a high-quality client experience from initial engagement through onboarding
Participate in the company’s growth initiatives and strategic projects that expand market reach
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in a business development role within wealth management
Undergraduate degree in commerce, finance or equivalent
CFP, CFA or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation considered an asset
Proven track record in business development, client acquisition or relationship management
Experience with CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, an asset
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Deep understanding of wealth management products and solutions
Highly capable of adapting approach to what is best for each situation.
