Responsibilities
Lead and scale our SMB (Small & Medium Business) Energy Sales team.
Play a critical role in driving revenue growth within the larger Energy sales team.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Foster strong team cohesion through coaching and mentorship.
Manage a growing team of 6–10 sales professionals focused on deals up to ~5,000MWh.
Drive new business growth and existing accounts.
Lead from the front—model excellence through active participation in sales efforts.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to provide feedback that fuels professional growth.
Requirements
Direct B2B Energy Sales Experience: 5–10 years selling electricity, natural gas, or green energy contracts (supplier or broker backgrounds welcome).
Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and inspire sales teams—even if your formal title wasn’t “manager.”
Multi-year track record of exceeding team quotas ($5M+)
Strong leadership skills with a coaching mindset and the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
