About the role
- Senior Software Engineer helping to build and improve Madhive's advertising platform with modern technologies. Collaborate across teams to ensure system reliability and data accuracy in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across our frontend and backend systems, with a strong emphasis on clean, maintainable code.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of UI components that give teams and clients strong visibility into system behavior and performance.
- Support backend services with a focus on data accuracy, system reliability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with teammates to enhance observability and monitoring through dashboards, alerts, and instrumentation.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of ad-tech-scale data and ML solutions.
- Write automated tests and contribute to ongoing improvements in tooling, coverage, and quality.
- Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and help drive alignment on technical decisions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering partners to scope work, refine requirements, and deliver features on time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer working with modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Background in adtech, including hands-on experience with ad serving, pixels, tracking, measurement, or related systems.
- Solid backend development skills. We use Golang, but experience with any modern backend language is welcome.
- Strong experience with React or a comparable frontend framework preferred.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Looker, OpenTelemetry, Centry, or New Relic.
- A strong interest in data science/machine learning concepts, or hands-on experience with high-throughput, ad-tech scale data solutions.
- Comfortable working with automated testing frameworks and contributing to an overall testing culture.
- Strong communicator who works well with cross-functional teams and enjoys solving complex problems in a collaborative environment.
